Paid off Mortgage

October 30th, 2010 at 03:17 pm

Paid off my mortgage this week. 11 years early on its 30 year loan. I actually think I could have done better but still a good thing. Just have to wait for the paperwork to go through to make it all official.

I'm also on vacation right now. Not doing anything special. Mostly watching scary Halloween movies.
I'm hoping to take 2 trips next year though.

Hope everyopne is doing well. And have a great Halloween.

Nineteen years on a 30-year mortgage leads to major savings, congratulations! That is pretty exciting stuff, and it offers some real-life insurance to people that it can be done. Thanks for the inspiration...

You are welcome. And seriously thank you to everyone here on Savings Advice because you are all very encouraging and keep me motivated. Even though I'm a natural slacker.
