CRAZY spending spree.

September 21st, 2009 at 03:31 pm

Not really so crazy. But I did buy a couple unexpected things cause they were just too good to pass up.
Last night when leaving work several people were buying kitchen blenders. They were reduced down to one dollar. So I got one. I've never had a blender believe it or not but its something I can use.

Today, shopping at Aldi, they had one of those metal colindars that have extended arms so they fit over the sink. I've wanted one of those for a long time but it was about 15 dollars at Wal Mart which was just too much to me. But Aldi's price was $6.99 so i got one. Not as good a deal as the blender but still not so bad.

I think I'll survive the spending spree.

Great deals, especially on the blender! Now you can make homemade milkshakes with fresh fruit!

  7. Patrick Says:

The one I got is the type that usually costs about $20 or so. Yep I'm looking forward to making a milkshake soon. And every once in awhile I make things that should require a blender but I always just improvise.
Now I wont have to; for that anyways.

Crazy. . . you spent less than $10, even with tax! (Unless your sales tax is REALLY high.) Enjoy your new kitchen tools. Smile

  9. Patrick Says:

Yeah it was about $9.47. Told ya it was CRAZY Petunia. LOL.

A buck for a blender? That's great! You should have got two and sold one on eBay or something. =) I find that blenders lead to fast meal prep (and shakes as well) and they are something that just adds to my quality of life. That might sound overstated, but we didn't have one for our first year living overseas, and then a friend who was moving back to the States gave us hers and it is awesome! Truly, it's a little insurance that you can have a taste of home now and again. Enjoy it! LuxLiving is right... smoothies, anyone?
